Like last year, the task set before the floral designers in this year’s Art in Bloom festival was not to re-create works of art in the NCMA’s permanent collection but to interpret them, using flowers as “paint.” Their gorgeous responses are all on display for the next four days in the Museum’s West Building, and you can take a sneak peek in this video made just as the blossoms were brought in.
