One Museum. Two Locations.
The NCMA W-S (formerly the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art) in Winston-Salem, NC, was founded in 1956 and had been an affiliate of the NCMA since 2007. It was renamed the North Carolina Museum of Art, Winston-Salem, in fall 2023 by the North Carolina Legislature.
NCMA W-S presents and interprets contemporary art of the United States with programs encompassing the issues engaging artists today.
