Music/Movie Combo—NCMA Groove: The Joy of ’80s Pop and 40th-anniversary screening of Purple Rain
Looking back to music by the Eurythmics, Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Culture Club, and Wham!, we must admit that the 1980s gave the world some of the best in dance hits, ballads, and pop classics.
NCMA Groove is a series that celebrates music + joy + people. Join DJ Thoro live from the Amphitheater stage from 5–8 pm for an afternoon of ’80s pop music, followed by a 40th-anniversary screening of Purple Rain.
