Turning Red (2022). Directed by Domee Shi, animation/kids and family, 100 min., PG
Young actress Rosalie Chiang lends her voice to Meilin Lee, a 13-year-old who suddenly “poofs” into a giant red panda when she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS). Sandra Oh voices Meilin’s protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, who is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager.
Where do I park? Can I bring my dog? How about picnics? What happens if it rains? For answers to these questions and others, see our 2023 Outdoor Films Policies.
