(CANCELED) Kuumba Cultural Arts Collective: Djembe Drumming (Spring Intensive)

This is a three-session class that meets Wednesday, April 10, 17, and 24, from 6:30–7:30 pm each day.

Whether you have always wanted to learn how to play West African drums, are a novice, or are looking for a place to practice your skills, djembe drum instructor Robert J. Corbitt III has created this class with you in mind.

Join Corbitt for a three-week class designed to cultivate your comfort on the djembe and dundun as well as expand your knowledge of rhythms that originated in the African diaspora.

There are a limited number of drums available. If you have a drum, please bring it. Please note: this event is geared for adults.
