Unequal Lovers Unveiled

Water damage, abrasion, aging varnish, and old restorations are just some of the things that must be fixed before a work of art can be seen by the museum visitor. It’s my job to clean it all up, to reconnect the viewer to the aritst’s vision. While treating De Gheyn’s “Unequal Lovers,” I also made some interesting discoveries.
