Please note: Due to incoming inclement weather, the Big Thief concert has been postponed for 24 hours and will now take place this Thursday, September 23. The Museum is open with updated hours, Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Free timed tickets for the Museum collection galleries encourage social distancing, and increased health and safety procedures are in place. Following local ordinances, visitors are required to wear a mask inside all buildings, including restrooms and concession buildings. Harlem Quartet: February 20, 2022 (NEA–funded Black History Month North Carolina Residency)

Effective Monday, October 4, the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and the North Carolina Museum of Art will require Raleigh Chamber Music participants age 13 and up to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 NAAT or PCR test result; test results must be within 72 hours of the event. Please plan to have one of these items in hand for Museum personnel upon entry.

The Sights and Sounds Concert Series, copresented by Chamber Music Raleigh and the North Carolina Museum of Art, features live performances in the NCMA’s SECU Auditorium. In spring 2021 CMR and the NCMA partnered for a virtual concert series.
