Art in Motion Porsche Raffle

Enter our Art in Motion Porsche Raffle to win a brand-new 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera in support of our spring special exhibitions Ruth E. Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design and Michael Richards: Are You Down? The sleek, dynamic Porsche 911, valued at $124,510, features power Sport Seats, 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels in gold, and the Sport Chrono package. This high-performance vehicle in classic black sports a twin-turbo six-cylinder horizontally opposed engine.

Tickets are $100, and only 5,000 will be sold. See raffle rules and regulations.

Raffle Rules and Regulations

The raffle prize is a 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera, valued at $124,510.

The Foundation will comply with all applicable tax requirements, including reporting and withholding requirements. The winner of the raffle is responsible for all taxes owed on the winnings. The Foundation will mail applicable tax forms to the winner of the raffle and report the prize to the IRS. The Foundation will collect the required federal withholdings upon the transfer of title of the automobile to the winner and remit these amounts to the appropriate authorities. Full transfer of the vehicle may take up to 30 days.

Through their purchase ticket buyers agree to abide by the rules of the raffle.

The winner does not need to be present to win.

Ticket buyers must reside in the United States.

 

Senior staff of the North Carolina Museum of Art (State entity) and North Carolina Museum of Art Foundation, Inc., along with members of their households, are not eligible to participate.

The cost of a raffle ticket is $100. A maximum of 5,000 tickets will be sold. A minimum of 1,500 tickets must be sold for the raffle to occur. If fewer than 1,500 tickets are sold, ticket buyers will receive a refund for the full purchase price of the tickets.

The raffle ticket price is not tax deductible as a contribution to the Foundation.

Tickets may be purchased online, in person, or by phone. They may not be purchased from funds received via mail, nor will the Foundation send tickets back to purchasers via mail.

The raffle will begin at 10 am on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, and will conclude at 5 pm on Sunday, June 18, 2023, or when all 5,000 tickets are sold, whichever occurs first. The drawing will take place on or before the end of business on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. The winner will be selected via random number draw by the Foundation’s accounting firm. After the winner is notified, the winner’s name will be listed on the raffle page of the NCMA website by Monday, June 26, 2023.
