What’s in the Box?
The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and the North Carolina Museum of Art require family program participants ages 13 and up to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 NAAT or PCR test result; test results must be within 72 hours of the event. Please plan to have one of these items in hand upon entry for Museum personnel.
Spend the morning at the Museum with our beloved program for preschoolers! Meet a work of art, enjoy movement and play, and get your creative juices flowing in these sessions for 3- to 5-year-olds and their caregivers. Adults and children visit the Museum galleries and then create unique works of art in our studios as we make connections through stories, art making, movement activities, and gallery play.
In this session lean into exploring Ronald Bladen’s giant work of art Three Elements and create a reflective wooden sculpture of your own. Please note: a portion of this class meets outside, weather permitting.
