What’s in the Box?

Spend the morning at the Museum with our beloved program for preschoolers! Meet a work of art, enjoy movement and play, and get your creative juices flowing with these sessions for 3- to 5-year-olds and their caregivers.

Adults and children take a visit to the Museum galleries and create unique works of art in our studios as we make connections through stories, art-making, movement activities, and gallery play.

This session is all about quilts! Look at and learn about the shapes in Estelle Witherspoon’s “Housetop”–Nine-Block Variation quilt and create your own inspired artwork out of colorful fabric.
