Virtual Sensory Journey through Art

Join us and Maya Brooks, associate curator of contemporary art, for a virtual journey inspired by two artworks, one from the exhibition The Time Is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure and one from the People’s Collection.
Participants are mailed a small sensory kit free of charge; limited to one kit per household. During this hour-long program, participants are prompted to use the kit items to activate the senses of touch, taste, smell, and sound. Paired with audio description, this immersive sensory experience fosters a deep, personal connection to the featured artwork(s).
Registration closes May 30.
