Virtual Flowers in Motion: Film, Music, and Fashion
Let the flowers move you! Be a part of Art in Bloom from anywhere by attending this exciting three-part virtual event (90 minutes in length). Hosted by Chelsea Flower Show five-time gold medal winner Joseph Massie, the evening begins with a screening of Flower Punk about the out-of-this world floral art of Japan’s Azuma Makoto. Next up enjoy a debut performance by the newly formed band Deep Fog, featuring the Triangle’s own H. C. McEntire, Jenny Waters, Nora Rogers, and Laura King. Finally Deep Fog provides the musical backdrop for a floral fashion show inspired by the film and created by Christopher Batts, Stacey Burkert, Carol Dowd, E. W. Fulcher, Morgan Howell Moylan, and Adanna Omeni. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the designs in the making and play a vital part in selecting the winning design via Zoom poll.
This event takes place via Zoom and will also be streamed on YouTube. You must be logged into the event via Zoom in order to participate in the vote.
