The Museum is open with updated hours, Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Free timed tickets for the Museum collection galleries encourage social distancing, and increased health and safety procedures are in place. Following local ordinances, visitors are required to wear a mask inside all buildings, including restrooms and concession buildings. Uniquely Carolyn: Carolyn the Educator—Student Recitals

The NCMA’s artist-in-residence Carolyn Colquitt earned a bachelor of music education degree from Valparaiso University and a master of arts from Indiana University. Her career in education has spanned three states and 40 years. Recently retired from the Wake County Public School System, Carolyn presents and performs with some of her many talented students.
