The Time Is Always Now Tour with Audio Description

Join us for a 90-minute tour with audio description (AD) of The Time Is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure. This guided tour examines the exhibition’s themes of double consciousness, past and presence, and aliveness. Artists such as Lorna Simpson, Kerry James Marshall, Jordan Casteel, Titus Kaphar, and Amy Sherald explore Blackness on their terms.
We welcome and prioritize visitors who are blind, have low vision, or have a learning need that would benefit from an experience that includes AD. Capacity is limited.
If you have questions about this accessible tour, please email Molly Hull at mhull@ncartmuseum.org.
