Please note: Admission to the exhibition is $20 for adults and free for members. Discounts may apply.

Join us for a tour of The Time Is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure. Docents explore the exhibition’s themes of double consciousness, past and presence, and aliveness. Artists such as Lorna Simpson, Kerry James Marshall, Jordan Casteel, Titus Kaphar, and Amy Sherald explore Blackness on their terms, and we are excited to invite you into the experience.

This tour is intended for adults who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing; no English is spoken. Capacity is limited to 10 participants. Due to construction, lunch is no longer provided following the conclusion of the tour. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have questions about this accessible tour, please email Molly Hull at mhull@ncartmuseum.org.
