The Happy Habit of Painting Every Day with Mónica Linares
The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and the North Carolina Museum of Art require studio program participants ages 13 and up to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 NAAT or PCR test result; test results must be within 72 hours of the event. Please plan to have one of these items in hand upon entry for Museum personnel.
This two-day workshop is the intensive version of the monthlong class M³nica Linares teaches at her studio. Linares created this class because she struggled to find time to paint when daily life got in the way. Using her research on habit formation, she guides participants to a happy habit of daily painting, leading to marked improvement and pleasure with the process.
This workshop offers
- The four pillars needed to form the habit of daily painting.
- The right motivation, practical ideas, and tips on how some master painters do it.
- Painting exercises that’ll help you create the habit of showing up at your easel.
- A group of like-minded people with the common goal of creating this happy habit.
Supplies are included in the class fee.
