Summer Films: Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)Directed by Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam, 92 min., PG

King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table embark on a hilarious search for the Holy Grail in this cult classic by Monty Python. This film is nothing short of genius with its quotable one-liners, memorable performances, and slapstick set pieces. “An incredibly silly film of great humor, brilliant design, and epic insanity.” (Chicago Tribune)
