Shakespeare in the Park

Join us for an evening of Shakespeare in the Ann and Jim Goodnight Museum Park. Carolina Shakespeare performs in full costume, presenting five 20-minute scenes from some of Shakespeare’s most well-known plays: Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew, Othello, and Much Ado About Nothing.

This is a guided walking performance. Audiences travel through areas of the Park (not far from the Blue Ridge Road parking lots) to five different performance stations, experiencing each play in a unique outdoor setting. Performances begin every half hour starting at 6 pm.

Each station will have about 30 folding chairs. We recommend bringing a lawn chair in case a given show is at capacity.
