Sensory Journey with Flowers: An Art in Bloom–Inspired Workshop for Children

Sold Out

Join us, Blossom Betty’s Floral Design Co., and Peacehaven Community Farm for an in-person sensory journey inspired by flowers. For this Art in Bloom edition, we explore a floral arrangement through the engagement of the senses. This event is designed to provide a learning opportunity for individuals ages 5–12 with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD).

Registration includes a drink, snack, and other sensory objects to help deepen the connection to the floral arrangement. Audio description, ASL interpretation, and captioning are provided. Please note: if these accommodations are not requested at the time of registration, they will not be present during the program.

Space is limited. Please register only the participant so that we can have as many individuals with an IDD participate as possible. Parent(s)/companions do not need to register and are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Art in Bloom floral installations in West Building are ticketed separately.
Parking will be crowded; arrive early to allow time for parking and making your way to East Building.
Please reach out to Molly Hull with questions about this program.
