Online Course: Art and SEL

Art and SEL introduces educators to art-based strategies that support them in developing inclusive classroom environments based on the core competencies of social and emotional learning (SEL).

In this self-paced, 15-hour course, educators engage in the transformative process of SEL by exploring themes of Mindfulness, Identity, Perspective Sharing, Community Building, and Agency and participate in experiences that model growth and development of justice-oriented, global citizens.

A certificate of participation for 15 hours will be provided (1.5 CEU, with approval from the local school system). This course was developed in collaboration with the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation.
