The Museum is open with updated hours, Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Free timed tickets for the Museum collection galleries encourage social distancing, and increased health and safety procedures are in place. Following local ordinances, visitors are required to wear a mask inside all buildings, including restrooms and concession buildings. NCMA To Go Activity Kits: Mini Modern Paintings

Get creative and inspired by NCMA art and artists at home! Each NCMA To Go activity kit has materials for a complete art-making project for one person, plus written instructions. Kits are designed for all ages to enjoy.

March’s kit is inspired by the free gestures and exploratory painting style of Abstract Expressionist artist Helen Frankenthaler.

Reserve your kit at the link above. Please specify the quantity of kits you are requesting (maximum four per reservation). Kits will be available for curbside pickup at the Museum on Saturday, March 13, starting at 10 am.
