NCMA Teen Day

Create something, immerse yourself in the galleries, and learn a thing or two about our Museum Teen Ambassadors. Find pop-up art activities and enjoy a day at the Museum with the Teen Arts Council.

Activities: 

Collaborative Mural
Get creative with this mural project inspired by Frank Stella’s Raqqa II. Grab a paintbrush and show us what makes you bloom. Come back at 2 pm to see the final reveal!

Origami Flowers and Crowns
Use paper to create a beautiful flower or flower crown with the guidance of Teen Arts Council members by the Rodin Court.

Communal Poetry
Feeling inspired? Join Teen Arts Council members and one of our NCMA docents to write poetry in The Arts thematic gallery.

Teens in the Galleries
Join us inside the Museum to spend time sketching with other teens and learn more about works in our collection from teen gallery guides in the American and 20th Century galleries.
