NCMA ReMixed Block Party: Kuumba Community Drum Lab with Robert J. Corbitt III (for adults)

Whether you have always wanted to learn how to play West African drums, are a novice, or are looking for a place to practice your skills, djembe drum instructor Robert J. Corbitt III has created this class with you in mind.

Join Corbitt for a 50-minute class designed to cultivate your comfort on the djembe and dundun as well as expand your knowledge of African-originated rhythms and tempos that have spread throughout the African diasporas.

There are a limited number of drums available. If you have a drum, please bring it. Please note: this event is geared for adults.
