NCMA Emerging Artisan Series 2022: Kickoff Event

In order to support the needs of artists and artisans across the state of North Carolina, the Museum Store offers a new initiative this spring. The NCMA Emerging Artisan series is focused on bringing new and established artists together at the Museum for a series of workshops and networking opportunities, all with the goal of mentorship and providing business guidance.

Our kickoff event features panelists Stacy Ahua, owner of Usu Candles; Jane Cheek, suspended-sculpture artist and Artspace resident; and Susie Silver, mixed-media artist, Artspace resident, and DEI consultant.

We invite all emerging artisans ages 18 and up to join us for a lively presentation, discussion, and reception. Enjoy networking at the Museum and learn what it takes to turn your passion into a business.
