Virtual NCMA Cinema-M. C. Escher: Journey to Infinity (2019)

COVID-19 Update: Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 infections caused by the Omicron variant, this NCMA Cinema screening will now be virtual.

M.C. Escher: Journey to Infinity (2019). Directed by Robin Lutz, 81 min., NR

The career of Dutch graphic artist M.C. Escher is portrayed in this documentary through diary excerpts and correspondence voiced by Stephen Fry, anecdotes from his sons, and his works. “M. C. Escher: Journey to Infinity tells us just enough of what we want to know about M. C. Escher’s life, but it’s essentially a presentation of his art; it’s like an art book that comes to life.” (Variety)

Please note that we will not be streaming the film virtually on Saturday, January 22, at 2 pm. Instead, we will share a private screening link on Friday, January 21, so that you may watch at your convenience. It will be available until Saturday, January 22.

If you have questions or concerns, please email Maria Lopez, manager of film and lecture programs.
