NCMA After Hours
NCMA After Hours is your chance to spend time at the Museum once your workday is over. Meet up with friends for a night out, have that first date, celebrate a special occasion, or find a sense of calm and connection by wandering the galleries.
This free event includes entry to both special exhibitions The Time Is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure and Grace Hartigan: The Gift of Attention, thanks to presenting sponsor WRAL/CBC. Join hourly artist-led tours of The Time Is Always Now with local painters Jalen Jackson and Zaire Miles-Moultrie or craft a poem with the Poetry Fox outside Grace Hartigan. Enjoy food, drinks, and a playlist of songs inspired by the exhibitions, and support local artists in the Exhibition Store.
