Mute the (Dominant) Mic: Toward Mindful Museum Spaces
How can communities come together to reclaim museum spaces and share individual fashion? Join the international Global Fashioning Assembly and four local artists and activists as they lead tactile, mindful experiences toward collective healing. Bring a piece of clothing or an accessory significant to you to share.
Together we’ll consider memory through individual fashions, sip “repentance” tea, learn about the healing properties of henna, and meditate on what it means to be human through dedications and gratitudes.
To attend in person, register here. To join the full live virtual program, register here. Feel free to register for both!
