Join pianist and professor Peter Kairoff as he performs and discusses beautiful compositions by Venetian masters Gabrieli, Monteverdi, Vivaldi, and others, highlighting how musical tastes parallel the visual arts of the same period.
Dr. Kairoff is a noted pianist, recording artist, and lively lecturer, recently inducted into the Steinway and Sons Teacher Hall of Fame. He is professor emeritus of music at Wake Forest University, where he also served for 25 years as the director of the university’s Venice campus.
