Please join teen Museum Store artisan Ivy Walbert for an afternoon of watercolor sketching en plein air. This experience takes place at the Welcome Center, beautifully situated at the top of the Museum Park.
The class is open to artists between the ages of 12 and 18. Students learn to use watercolors and pen to capture sketches of surrounding nature. Basic watercolor techniques are covered, including how to apply them to painting out in the open. Participants then have the chance to go out into the Park and try their hand at painting what’s around them.
