Mindful Museum: Virtual Slow Art Appreciation

Slow art is a growing movement to mindfully observe and communally appreciate art. Participants are guided through a brief centering practice followed by an intentional observation of Judith and Holofernes by Artemisia Gentileschi. This docent-led session examines the painting in conjunction with Kehinde Wiley’s artwork of the same title, both part of the current exhibition Gentileschi/Wiley: Two Paintings of Judith 400 Years Apart.
