About the artist

Christopher Evans is a self-taught artist and the proprietor of Goodtrip Gallery, located at 416 South McDowell St., Raleigh. His work is inspired by life itself, whether it’s the music from his childhood or the neighborhoods in which he grew up. Born and raised in Apex, NC, Evans incorporates home—its people, culture, and his experiences there—into his work.
