Leadership Reimagined: Where Art Meets Modern Leadership

Are you ready to take the lead? Join JP Jermaine Powell, the 2022–24 NCMA artist in residence, as he presents an engaging artist talk about his exhibition Leadership Reimagined: Share Your Journey.

In this talk Powell reveals how his personal journey and the inspiring stories of NCMA staff, celebrated artists, and everyday heroes sparked a creative exploration of modern leadership. Drawing on influences from the Museum’s diverse art collections, local wildlife, and his global travels, Powell reimagines leadership through powerful symbols ranging from horses and birds to boxing gloves and helmets that represent strength, resilience, and the art of overcoming obstacles.

Whether you are an artist, art lover, or an aspiring leader, this talk promises to inspire you to embrace creativity, celebrate diversity in leadership, and discover new paths to success.
