About Lalah Hathaway
Undeniable music royalty and a 30-year music-industry veteran, Lalah Hathaway has collaborated with today’s top hitmakers, including Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Anderson .Paak, Robert Glasper, Rapsody, Snoop Dogg, and Esperanza Spalding. Her song “Show Me Your Soul,” from the hit documentary Mr. Soul!, was on the 2021 Academy Award shortlist for Best Original Song. Hathaway’s long-awaited next original solo project, her first since the release of her Grammy-nominated album Honestly in 2018, is coming this year.

About PJ Morton
With his new album, Watch the Sun, PJ Morton continues a spectacular run of genre-blurring releases. In addition to four consecutive years of Grammy wins, Morton has topped charts and received awards honoring the six albums he has put out since breakthrough Gumbo in 2017. All of this comes in addition to touring with Maroon 5 and running his own label. Watch the Sun features such notable guests as Stevie Wonder, Nas, and El DeBarge.

Please keep an eye out for our Know before You Go email, which will be sent a few weeks before the concert. Also feel free to reach out to Moses.T.AlexanderGreene@ncdcr.gov should you have any questions.
