Intro to Digital Anime Art with David Anyanwu

Sold Out

The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and the North Carolina Museum of Art require film and lecture program participants ages 13 and up to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 NAAT or PCR test result; test results must be within 72 hours of the event. Please plan to have one of these items in hand upon entry for Museum personnel.

Draw anime like the pros. Join illustrator David Anyanwu (P-Shinobi) to learn to draw digital anime art. This three-part course introduces participants to the world of digital illustration and graphic art. (Don’t worry; it’s not difficult!) We also explore functions like layers, brushes, and other aspects that make the digital medium a powerful tool for creating art–all while having fun drawing anime characters.

This class uses one of the most popular and capable digital art programs, Clip Studio. The app is available for both desktop and mobile devices and can be used for free.

Supplies needed

  • Tablet or laptop
