In the Moment: Cultural Activities for the Memory Community

Join us as we explore the signs of spring through art, history, and science. During this pilot program, we spend time socializing, discussing art, and learning about North Carolina through a series of interactive experiences.

In the Moment is a program series designed for those living with memory changes and their care partners. It inspires collective engagement with a wide breadth of topics, ranging from the arts to the diversity of life on earth. Participants are given the opportunity to take part in meaningful interactions, express their unique perspectives, and broaden their horizons, all while learning from a variety of cultural institutions based in NC.

Always hosted at the NCMA, In the Moment is coordinated and supported by multiple organizations within the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR), including the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, North Carolina Museum of History, and North Carolina Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

In the Moment officially launches on Friday, July 10.
