About BHS Dance
Broughton High School Dance Department strives to be a safe and nurturing environment where any dancer can express their unique ideas through their movement. Our goal is to create a well-rounded dance artist through academics, choreography, performance, and skill development. We focus on vocabulary, choreography, technique, dance history, anatomy, and production. The department puts on five annual concerts: Fusion, In Good Company, Emerging Artist Showcase, Advanced Dance Showcase, and Spring Dance Concert. Students perform at school, community, and national events; study under guest artists; and attend live performances. We offer Dance 1–4 honors, Independent Study, and IB dance.

About In Motion. In Time.
Partnering with local and regional university and community choreographers and dance ensembles, the NCMA presents original, commissioned dance performances in concert with exhibitions. Interpreting each show, these performances create new entry points for audiences to engage with exhibitions—through the language of dance.
