The Museum is open with updated hours, Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Free timed tickets for the Museum collection galleries encourage social distancing, and increased health and safety procedures are in place. Following local ordinances, visitors are required to wear a mask inside all buildings, including restrooms and concession buildings. For the safety of everyone, we ask that all outdoor event attendees wear masks both outdoors and indoors. Learn more about these updates at

I ♥ Purim Party: Virtually!

Join us for a 2021 spin on the annual Purim party at the NCMA! This fun and interactive online event will be an opportunity to join together, celebrate Purim parties past, and share your own festivities, all from the comfort of your own home.

Your MC for the evening is ABC11’s Jonah Kaplan. Special guests include Michele Frederick, NCMA associate curator of European art, for some trivia; and Alyssa Wilen of Charlotte’s Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen for a demo of three delicious hamantaschen variations. Get ready for a special cocktail crafting lesson hosted by STIR. And enjoy a closer look at some special objects in the Judaic Art Gallery with Consulting Curator of Judaic Art Gabriel Goldstein.
