Grace Hartigan: Poets in the Gallery

Join us for a poetry reading in the exhibition Grace Hartigan: The Gift of Attention. Curator of 20th-Century and Contemporary Art Jared Ledesma and poets Chris Vitiello (Poetry Fox and Durham Poet Laureate), Chris Tonelli (So & So Books co-owner), Laura Jaramillo (Paradiso series co-organizer), and others read original poems inspired by Hartigan’s paintings as well as poems by the New York School poets that Hartigan knew and worked with, including Frank O’Hara, Barbara Guest, and James Schuyler.
