Family Studio: Tastemakers
Guided by expert artists, look closely at original works of art in the galleries and find inspiration to create your own projects during these two-hour studio workshops.
Fruit, fish, bread, and beverages—the delectable foods appearing in still lifes throughout the special exhibition Dutch Art in a Global Age tell the story of favorite tastes in the 17th century. This art class for families creates a feast of our favorites with soft sculptures inspired by the exhibition. Each participant makes one large-scale food item to take home.
Best for families with children ages 5 to 11. No separate exhibition ticket required.
