Family Studio: Still Life Paintings from Scratch

Guided by expert artists, look closely at original works of art and find inspiration to create your own projects during these two-hour studio workshops. Sessions include a guided gallery tour plus time in the art studio.

Learn painting techniques inspired by modern artists including Pablo Picasso, Paul C©zanne, and Georges Braque. Artists of all ages view works of art by these iconic artists in the special exhibition A Modern Vision: European Masterworks from The Phillips Collection, then create their own still life painting with a twist! No prior painting experience is necessary to enjoy this class.

All participants (children and adults) must have a ticket. Best for families with children ages 5 to 11.
