Family Studio: Layers upon Layers

Guided by expert artists, look closely at original works of art and find inspiration to create your own projects during these two-hour studio workshops. Sessions include a guided gallery tour plus time in the art studio.

Discover messages and meanings peeking out from within sculptures, paintings, and photos on view at the NCMA. This class guides young artists and their grown-ups to take inspiration from layered, multimedia works in the galleries and create a transparent and truly unique work of art of their own to take home!

All participants (children and adults) must have a ticket. All materials are included. Best for families with children ages 5 to 11.
