Hear ye, hear ye! Visit the NCMA for an afternoon of merriment and more with the Society for Creative Anachronism. Little lords and ladies (plus their grown-ups) can:
- Watch thrilling combat demonstrations on the tournament field
- Discover medieval and Renaissance crafts in the NCMA medieval village
- Enjoy period theatrical, musical, and dance performances throughout the Museum
- Visit our fall exhibitions including Venice and the Ottoman Empire for free!
- Create their own Venetian mask and other hands-on art projects
- Sample cider, honey soda, and mead and taste a medieval feast in East Café
Historical costumes encouraged. This event is rain or shine.
