Family Day: Around the World
Spend a day at the NCMA with fun for the whole family inspired by the special exhibition Dutch Art in a Global Age: Masterpieces from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Create your own masterpieces at hands-on art making stations, take a trip around the Netherlands with a scavenger hunt, and participate in seasonal giving. Plus, visit the exhibition for free all day long!
Schedule of Activities
10 am–5 pm: Free access to Dutch Art in a Global Age
10 am–2 pm: Free family-friendly activities, including:
- Go on an exhibition scavenger hunt
- Create blue-and-white faux delftware
- Pose for a dressed-up Dutch-inspired family portrait
- Have fun in the still life play area
- Bring supplies to swap or share for the Teen Arts Council Art Swap and Donation Drive
