Department of Humanity

Join queer artist Stacey L. Kirby and performers as they guide you through West Building in the interactive performance art piece The Department of Humanity. In response to the reinstallation of the People’s Collection, Kirby created this work to invite visitors to actively reflect on the reinstallation, museum practices, and the de/rehumanizing of museum spaces.
