Buskers Day
The centuries-old art of busking–performances made in public spaces for gratuities–comes to the NCMA for our second annual Buskers Day. Join us as these talented street performers fill all corners of the Museum Park with music.
Interested in performing?
Buskers from across the state are welcome to perform for any duration between the hours of 1 and 4 pm throughout our 164-acre park.
No registration/permit fee is required, and while performers are not paid by the NCMA, they are welcome to put out collection baskets.
By performing at this event, buskers are agreeing to our terms that performances not include any hate speech or illicit content (must be family-friendly). The North Carolina Museum of Art reserves the right to review all content and to terminate a performance at any time.
While we leave site selection up to our buskers, we ask that you stay away from tall grass, look out for ant hills, and not to get closer than 8 ft to any art work.
