Following the Animated Landscapes studio workshop on cityscapes, join us for a screening of Rintaro’s Metropolis. A Japanese detective and his young nephew pursue a dangerous scientist, who they discover has created the beautiful Tima, destined to control humanity’s future. This anime is an interpretation of Fritz Lang’s classic film of the same name and based on Osamu Tezuka’s outstanding 1945 illustrations.
