Woven Sculptures with Angela Eastman

12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Overview

In this workshop with artist Angela Eastman, participants engage in a practical exploration of natural plant fibers. After a tour of the Museum Park, learning how to identify, harvest, and process useful plants, students utilize weaving techniques to create sculptural woven vessels and forms. This process opens up a conversation about the intersection of ecological responsibility, creative placemaking, and heritage crafts. Supplies included. No experience needed.
