Chamber Music Raleigh partners with the Paderewski Piano Festival of Raleigh to present exceptional international pianists in intimate concert settings across the city. Together, the organizations celebrate Ignacy Jan Paderewski’s enduring legacy as a pianist, composer, statesman, and cultural ambassador while fostering musical and cultural exchange among artists and audiences from around the world.
About the artist
South Korean pianist Seonghum Jeong is a prize-winning artist recognized for his expressive performances, insightful interpretations, and rapid rise on the international stage. He won the 2026 American International Paderewski Competition in Los Angeles and has earned first prizes in numerous major Korean competitions, including those presented by the Korean Liszt Association, Music Chunchoo, Korea Nanpa, and Music Journal. A summa cum laude graduate of Yonsei University, he is pursuing a performer’s diploma at Southern Methodist University on a highly selective full scholarship.
