Chamber Music Raleigh partners with the Paderewski Piano Festival of Raleigh to present exceptional international pianists in intimate concert settings across the city. Together, the organizations celebrate Ignacy Jan Paderewski’s enduring legacy as a pianist, composer, statesman, and cultural ambassador while fostering musical and cultural exchange among artists and audiences from around the world.
About the artist
Italian pianist Elia Cecino has emerged as one of the most compelling young artists on the international stage, earning acclaim for his technical command, expressive depth, and imaginative interpretations. He became the first Italian to win First Prize at the Iturbi International Piano Competition, where he also received special prizes for his performances of Beethoven and Chopin, and has won additional first prizes at the New Orleans, James Mottram, and Ricard Viñes international piano competitions. His honors also include recognition at the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition and the New York Vendome Prize.
