This fall, in addition to a number of free exhibitions, the NCMA offers visitors a rare chance to see not only centuries-old writings and sketches by Leonardo da Vinci, but also the work of M. C. Escher, another observer of nature and a perfect modern counterpart to Leonardo. We caught up with curators David Steel and Jennifer Dasal on an ordinary workday and asked them to talk about what’s in store.
